Beirut: Minister of Culture, Dr. Ghassan Salameh, on Monday met in his office at the National Library in Sanayeh with Ms. Sandra Abou Nader and Ms. Rita Nemr, founders of the Beirut Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art (BEMA), to discuss several points related to the ongoing cooperation between the Ministry and the BEMA administration, particularly concerning the Ministry of Culture’s painting collection.
According to National News Agency – Lebanon, the meeting focused on enhancing collaboration between the Ministry and BEMA to ensure better management and display of the painting collection. The discussions aimed at aligning strategies for cultural promotion and curation of art exhibits that would benefit the public and art community. The founders highlighted their plans for future exhibitions and how the Ministry’s collection could be integrated into these initiatives.
