Beirut: Minister of Culture Dr. Ghassan Salameh recently hosted Polish Ambassador to Lebanon, Aleksandra Bukowska-McCabe, at his office in the National Library in Sanayeh. The meeting, which served as a courtesy call, focused on reinforcing the collaboration between Lebanon and Poland.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the Ambassador expressed her gratitude for the opportunity to meet with Dr. Salameh and highlighted the discussions about Poland's involvement in the preservation of archaeological and heritage sites in various regions of Lebanon, including northern Lebanon, Tyre, and Shheem. She emphasized the importance of continuing and enhancing the cooperative efforts between the two nations in the field of antiquities.
Additionally, Ambassador Bukowska-McCabe presented Dr. Salameh with a book offering an overview of Poland, along with brochures detailing the excavation projects Poland is undertaking in Lebanon. These materials have been added to the collection at the National Library.
