Beirut: Minister of Culture Dr. Ghassan Salameh, on Thursday received in his office at the National Library - Sanayeh a delegation from the Louvre Museum in Paris, which included Director of Antiquities Ariane Thomas and Director of European and International Affairs Pauline Bonnet de Paillerets. According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the meeting was attended by the Minister's advisor, architect Jad Tabet, as well as Marion Allénard and Charlotte Aïe from the French Institute. Discussions focused on ways to enhance and activate cooperation in the field of antiquities. Following the meeting, Thomas stated: "We are in Beirut today on behalf of the Louvre Museum. During our meeting with Minister Salameh, we discussed the ongoing cooperation in Lebanon, particularly the program related to antiquities in Byblos and other programs that may follow, as well as ways to further develop them."
