Salameh Engages in Diplomatic Discussions with Ambassadors of Morocco, Norway, and Australia

Beirut: Minister of Culture, Dr. Ghassan Salameh, held meetings with the ambassadors from Morocco, Norway, and Australia at the National Library in Sanayeh to discuss bilateral relations and cultural cooperation. The meetings served as a platform for reinforcing diplomatic ties and exploring collaborative opportunities between Lebanon and these nations.

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, Moroccan Ambassador to Lebanon, Mohamed Akrin, accompanied by his deputy, Lahcen Badri, visited Minister Salameh to congratulate him on his new ministerial role. Ambassador Akrin emphasized that their discussions included the state of bilateral relations and cultural matters, with an emphasis on enhancing cooperation between Lebanon and Morocco. They also exchanged views on the political, economic, and social situations in both countries.

Norwegian Ambassador to Lebanon, Hilde Haraldstad, also met with Minister Salameh for a protocol visit. Ambassador Haraldstad noted that the meeting provided an opportunity to discuss Lebanon's current situation, including its challenges and opportunities. They also explored cultural relations between Lebanon and Norway.

Furthermore, Minister Salameh welcomed Australian Ambassador to Lebanon, Andrew Barnes, alongside his advisor, Ben Ghrayek. Ambassador Barnes expressed his congratulations to Minister Salameh and highlighted the discussion on bilateral relations and potential avenues for increased cultural cooperation between Lebanon and Australia.
