Beirut: Saudi Ambassador to Lebanon Fahad bin Abdulrahman Al-Dosari performed Friday prayers at Al-Wafaa Mosque in Tripoli's Dam wal Farz area, where Tripoli and North Lebanon Mufti Sheikh Mohammad Tarek Imam led the prayers.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, Imam welcomed Al-Dosari and praised Saudi Arabia's role in Lebanon and the region, highlighting that the Lebanese people view the Kingdom "with affection, warmth and appreciation" for its unwavering support across all Lebanese regions without bias.
The Mufti described Saudi Arabia as a "cornerstone in the region," noting that the resumption of Lebanese overland exports to the Kingdom marks a significant positive development poised to bring relief to Lebanon. He further expressed optimism about regional cooperation, hoping it would help address broader crises, restore stability, and rejuvenate economic cooperation and development projects for the benefit of the region's peoples and countries.
Al-Dosari's presence was warmly welcomed by the worshippers, who gathered to greet him following the prayers.
