Sayegh Warns of Israeli Military Escalation Against Lebanon

Beirut: Member of the Democratic Gathering, MP Faisal Sayegh, expressed his concern about "the tangible atmosphere of Israeli escalation in Lebanon," considering that the war on Lebanon is part of the American strategy aimed at weakening Iranian influence in the region. According to National News Agency - Lebanon, in an interview with "Radio Free Lebanon", Sayegh emphasized that the issue of arms monopoly has become inevitable, and that Lebanon no longer has any room to maneuver to circumvent its commitments. He called for adherence to the decisions of August 5 and 7 "in a way that serves the national interest." Regarding the parliamentary elections, Sayegh emphasized that his movement does not target any particular party, calling for "equality between Lebanese and expatriates" and respect for constitutional deadlines. He also called on Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri to include the draft electoral law on the agenda, praising its "fundamental role in maintaining stability."
