Security Update: Escalation in Southern Lebanon as Israeli Air and Artillery Strikes Hit Multiple Towns, Casualties Reported.

Tyre: Israeli air and artillery strikes on Tuesday intensified across several regions of southern Lebanon, leaving casualties and extensive destruction in multiple towns. An early morning drone strike targeted a roadside cafe in the southern Lebanese town of Marwaniyeh, injuring several civilians. According to National News Agency - Lebanon, in the Tyre region, airstrikes leveled a home in the village of Debaal, reportedly causing fatalities and injuries among residents. In Nabatieh, artillery shelling continued to hit the village of Yuhmur al-Shqif and surrounding areas, including neighborhoods near the Old Mosque and Lower District, as well as the nearby town of Arnoun. Later in the morning, Israeli fighter jets conducted raids on multiple towns within Tyre and Bint Jbeil districts, including Tayri, Hadata, Siddiqin, Sarifa, Hannieh, Mansouri, Rashaf, Majdal Selm, Jbal al-Botm, Kfara, Maaliyeh, and areas on the outskirts of Tyre. The strikes led to the collapse of a three-story building near the road conn ecting Sarifa and Arzoun. Civil defense and medical teams continue searching for those reportedly trapped under the rubble. One strike in Siddiqin resulted in two civilian deaths and several injuries, according to local sources. Further attacks hit neighborhoods in the city of Tyre, including areas around Hiram Hospital and al-Zira'a, damaging buildings and wounding several residents. Following midnight, air raids also struck the town of Kafrdounine in Bint Jbeil district and the village of Tebnine, along with a farm in the Bazourieh area, reportedly causing a civilian death and several injuries. Surveillance and reconnaissance aircraft remain active over Tyre and Bint Jbeil.
