Beirut: Israeli enemy warplanes on Wednesday launched an airstrike at approximately 1:15 pm, targeting the outskirts of Zefta near the river, escalating tensions along the southern border. In a separate development, two individuals were injured in a strike on the town of Abbassieh in the Tyre district. According to National News Agency - Lebanon, Tyre district witnessed further escalation as Israeli warplanes conducted a heavy raid on the village of Majdal Zoun. Additionally, an unmanned Israeli drone targeted a house in Tayr Debba, sparking a fire. The Tair Debba branch of the Risala Emergency Medical Team responded to extinguish the blaze. Our NNA correspondent confirmed that the strikes coincided with the sound of explosions in the southern town of Shamaa, where Israeli enemy forces reportedly used phosphorus shells in an attack on Majdal Zoun.
