Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said on Sunday 14/7/2024 that he is looking forward to creating a fruitful work environment with Egypt for the benefit of both countries in the future. Vucic underscored the significance of promoting co-operation between Egyptian and Serbian businessmen toward achieving a brighter future. 'We have many to do together in the future, I hope we will be able to attain this on an appropriate way, in light of our realisation of a new chapter to come between our two friendly nations,' the Serbian president said while addressing the Egyptian-Serbian businessmen council, which kicked off earlier today in the New Administrative Capital. He added that: 'It is not an easy matter to have direct investment under these circumstances, amid the global challenges and problems.' Vucic called on Egyptian firms - which have shown great interest to take part in the event - to partake in the upcoming forum slated for the year 2027. 'The development of the New Administrative Capital proves tha t dreams could come true. We have a similar project in Serbia,' Vucic said, adding that he is pleased with such a great effort by Egyptian engineers, developers and workers. The Serbian aviation authority will resume flights between Cairo and Belgrade shortly, within a few weeks or less than two months, the Serbian president said, noting that rebuilding communication channels aims at enhancing relations between Egypt and Serbia.
