Nabatieh: Israeli warplanes launched a series of heavy airstrikes targeting several towns in the Nabatieh district of southern Lebanon, causing casualties and widespread destruction to residential buildings, businesses, and infrastructure.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, an Israeli strike in the town of Shoukin killed an entire family from the Hashem family after warplanes targeted the Al-Sadr residential complex. Airstrikes also hit the town of Jibshit, killing three people and injuring four others. In Kfar Remen, several raids destroyed the town's old mosque, while in Mifadoun, multiple strikes destroyed a restaurant and a number of commercial shops.
In Zibdine, an airstrike destroyed a building and a chocolate factory. Additional raids targeted Zawtar al-Sharqiya, Zawtar al-Gharbiya, Qaaqaiyet al-Jisr, Yohmor al-Shakif, Qsaybeh, Arnoun, Kfar Tibnit, and Nabatieh al-Fawqa, including a strike near Gandour Hospital. A separate strike hit the Zawtar road, while the Bayad neighborhood in the city of Nabatieh was struck, destroying a residential building. Several artillery shells also landed near the Nabih Berri Governmental Hospital.
The attacks further targeted the town of Sharqiyeh and a residential-commercial building on the Zefta-Nabatieh highway, which was completely destroyed. The nearby police station sustained major damage, though its personnel narrowly escaped unharmed. Airstrikes also hit the area between Louaizeh and Mleikh, while a drone strike targeted the vicinity of the Husseini club in Nabatieh, killing an elderly Syrian man and injuring another person.
In Dweir, an Israeli strike destroyed a residential and commercial building belonging to Ali Hteit at the entrance of the town square. A previous strike on the town had killed Moussa Hteit. Heavy artillery shelling throughout the day also targeted Arnoun, Yohmor al-Shaqif, Haboush, Kfar Remen, Zawtar al-Sharqiya, Zawtar al-Gharbiya, Maydafoun, Jibshit, the Red Hill area on the outskirts of Shoukin, Harouf, and the Ali al-Taher forest area.
Later in the day, additional airstrikes targeted the towns of Mleikh, Houmine al-Fawqa, Aramta, and Kfarhouneh, while a drone strike hit a pickup truck on the Doha road in Kfar Remen.
