Sheikh Qassem Addresses Hezbollah Wounded Fighters, Emphasizes Their Role in Future Victory


Beirut: Secretary General Sheikh Naim Qassem addressed Hezbollah wounded fighters on their commemorative day, which coincides with the birthday of Abi Fadl Al-Abbass (A.S.), a figure injured in the historic Karbala battle defending Imam Hussein (A.S.). Sheikh Qassem praised the fighters’ sacrifices, emphasizing that the US and Zionist adversaries are at their pinnacle in this confrontation.



According to National News Agency – Lebanon, Sheikh Qassem’s message highlighted the spiritual and moral significance of the wounded fighters. He invoked religious scripture, stating that those who strive in the path of Allah hold a higher rank and are deemed successful. Sheikh Qassem addressed the fighters, acknowledging their sacrifices as a testament to dignity and hope, and likened them to historic figures like Abu Al-Fadl Al-Abbas and Imam Sayyed Ali Khamenei.



He emphasized that the wounded fighters symbolize a never-ending source of life and dignity. Quoting religious texts, he encouraged perseverance against adversaries, acknowledging the shared suffering between them and their enemies, but with a divine promise of eventual victory. Sheikh Qassem commended the fighters for their resilience in the face of American and Zionist forces, citing their role in halting enemy advances in southern Lebanon and countering territorial expansions.



Sheikh Qassem further assured the fighters that their faith and resilience ensure consistent victories, whether through martyrdom or recovery. He praised the continued commitment to the path of Karbala of Hussein and Hezbollah, stating that each form of triumph contributes to an overarching victory as promised by Allah.



He concluded with salutations to the fighters, their families, and supporters, as well as to Imam Sayyed Ali Khamenei, reinforcing the collective march towards divine goals.
