Dannieh: Snowfall in the past few hours has blanketed the entire heights of Dannieh, from 1,000 meters above sea level, causing the closure of the main road linking Dannieh and Hermel due to snow accumulation.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the snowfall was accompanied by heavy rain in central and coastal regions, along with hail, which led to the accumulation of rainwater on roads and disrupted traffic for some time in various areas.
This weather event was further intensified by cold conditions, with temperatures dropping below zero in mountainous and highland areas, compounding the challenges faced by residents and travelers in the region.
