Snow Falls for the First Time This Year on Dinniyeh’s Highlands

Dinniyeh: Snow fell for the first time this year over the heights of Dinniyeh, after snow covered the summit of Qurnat as-Sawda, the highest peak in Lebanon at 3088 meters above sea level, and reached the areas of Jurd an-Najas and Jurd Marbin, 2400 and 2200 meters respectively.

According to National news agency - Lebanon, a thin layer of snow formed in both areas, amidst a noticeable drop in temperatures, and heavy rainfall over the mountainous, central, and coastal areas.
