Social Affairs Minister Meets Saudi Ambassador, Highlights Saudi Support for Lebanon

Beirut: Minister of Social Affairs, Hanine El Sayed, on Tuesday welcomed the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Lebanon, Fahd bin Abdulrahman Al-Dosari, at her office in the ministry during an acquaintance visit.

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the meeting involved a comprehensive review of Lebanon's current situation, focusing on the social and humanitarian challenges faced by the country. The discussions highlighted the Lebanese government's efforts to address the needs of the most affected groups, support displaced persons and vulnerable families, and follow up on processes related to return and recovery.

The dialogue also covered the support extended by Saudi Arabia to Lebanon, especially in humanitarian efforts, emphasizing the significance of ongoing cooperation and coordination. This partnership aims to alleviate the burdens on the Lebanese people and enhance the capacity of national institutions to respond effectively.

Minister El Sayed expressed her gratitude for Saudi Arabia's supportive stance toward Lebanon and its citizens. She underscored the "importance of Arab partnership in this critical phase" and the potential role of the Kingdom in fostering social and humanitarian stability in Lebanon.
