According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the discussions highlighted shared responsibilities in social services, assistance, family care, child protection, empowerment of persons with disabilities, and combating violence against women. Both ministers identified opportunities to exchange expertise and benefit from each country's experience in these sectors.
Al-Sayed and her Turkish counterpart agreed to draft a memorandum of understanding to establish a framework for technical cooperation, capacity building, and developing joint social policies and programs. The Lebanese minister also expressed gratitude for Turkey's support to Lebanon, especially following the recent conflict, and emphasized the importance of bilateral partnerships to improve social protection systems and citizen services in both countries.
