The move was part of the directives from Dr. Amthal Al- Huwailah, Minister of Social Affairs, Family and Childhood Affairs, who highlighted the need to support citizens in overcoming financial debts. The initiative was made possible through the contributions of major donors, particularly the Kuwait Finance House, which provided the largest contribution of KD seven million (approximately USD 22.8 million). The support from cooperative societies, charitable societies, and citizens also played a crucial role, showcasing the spirit of solidarity and goodwill inherent in Kuwaiti society. Dr. Al-Ajmi also commended the vital role of Counselor Abdullah Al-Othman, Head of the General Administration of Implementation at the Ministry of Justice, for his cooperative efforts in streamlining procedures. This collaboration was pivotal to the success of the initiative. Additionally, he expressed gratitude to committee members from various ministries and unions, including the Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs, the Union of Charitable Societies and Charities, and the Union o f Cooperative Societies, for their contributions to this successful endeavor.
