San Sebastian: Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez confirmed that his country opposes US President Donald Trump's proposal to displace Palestinians from the Gaza Strip, and that it will not allow its implementation.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, Sanchez made these remarks during a speech at an event for his "Socialist Workers" party in San Sebastian, northern Spain. He emphasized the importance of respecting international law in Gaza, as elsewhere, and highlighted the necessity for both Palestinians in Palestine and Israelis in Israel to live in peace, harmony, and security.
Sanchez further criticized any attempts to conceal ongoing issues in Gaza, stating, "No real estate operation will be able to cover up this evil, shame, and crimes against humanity that Gaza has witnessed in recent years." He reiterated that Spain would not support the implementation of Trump's plan, asserting, "Spain will not allow this."
