Manama: Ahmed bin Salman Al Musallam, Speaker of the Council of Representatives, welcomed Mohamed Ould Errachid, Speaker of the House of Councillors of the Kingdom of Morocco. This meeting was part of the official visit by the Moroccan parliamentary delegation to the Kingdom of Bahrain, invited by Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh, Chairman of the Shura Council. Al Musallam emphasized the strong Bahrain-Morocco relations and the shared commitment to advancing these ties across sectors, led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Majesty King Mohammed VI of Morocco.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Al Musallam praised the advanced level of cooperation between Bahraini and Moroccan parliaments, highlighting the exchange of experiences and coordination at regional and international forums, serving the interests of both nations and their peoples. During the meeting, both parties reiterated the strength of their relations, explored ways to support bilateral initiatives, and discussed ongoing efforts related to the causes of the Arab and Islamic nations.
Errachid expressed his pride in the strong Moroccan-Bahraini relations and acknowledged the progress made by Bahrain under the leadership of His Majesty the King. He reaffirmed Morocco's commitment to enhancing bilateral relations and the role of parliamentary diplomacy, conveying greetings from Rachid Talbi Alami, Speaker of the House of Representatives of Morocco. Errachid also praised the shared interest in advancing parliamentary cooperation and wished Bahrain continued progress and prosperity.
