Tel aviv: The United Nations Special Coordinator for Lebanon, Jeanine Hennis-Plasschaert, embarked on a visit to Israel as part of her ongoing consultations with critical stakeholders involved in implementing United Nations Security Council resolution 1701 (2006).
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, Ms. Hennis-Plasschaert is scheduled to engage with senior Israeli officials to discuss recent developments, focusing on the execution of resolution 1701 and the November 2024 Cessation of Hostilities arrangement. The meetings aim to promote security and stability on both sides of the Blue Line.
