NNA – Marjayoun – A clash occurred between the Palestinian demonstrators, security forces and the Lebanese army units at Fatima Gate in the South this afternoon, following the demonstrators’ attempt to cross the checkpoint placed in the area to prevent them from passing through the road leading to the Marjayoun Plain, where the barbed wire fence separates the borders between the two countries, NNA correspondent reported.
As a result, the Army Command sent additional reinforcements to the site. Meanwhile, some of the demonstrators deliberately climbed the wall separating Lebanon and occupied Palestine in the town of Kfar Kila, where they threw stones and broke down the surveillance cameras placed by the Israeli enemy, NNA correspondent added.
