Telecommunications Minister Begins Inspection Tour of South Lebanon

Sidon: Telecommunications Minister, Charles Hajj, on Wednesday arrived in Sidon, the first stop on an inspection tour that will also include Nabatieh and Tyre. The tour aims to assess the telecommunications sector on the ground through visits to facilities operated by Ogero, as well as customer service centers of mobile operators Touch and Alfa.

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the minister's visit is part of a broader initiative to evaluate the current state of telecommunications infrastructure in the region. Charles Hajj plans to engage with local officials and stakeholders to discuss challenges and potential improvements in service delivery.

During the tour, Minister Hajj is expected to review the operational efficiency of Ogero's facilities and gather feedback from customers at the Touch and Alfa service centers. By conducting these assessments, the ministry hopes to identify key areas that require immediate attention and develop strategies to enhance telecommunications services in South Lebanon.

The minister's itinerary includes meetings with technical teams and field inspections to ensure that the facilities operate at optimal levels. The outcomes of this tour are anticipated to influence future policy decisions and investments in Lebanon's telecommunications sector.
