Tripoli: The European Union delegation to Libya called for the immediate release of the journalist 'Ahmed Al-Senussi' and that quick measures be taken by the judicial and law enforcement authorities in Libya, to ensure the safety and rights of individuals, journalists and media workers. The mission added, in a joint statement with the diplomatic missions of European Union member states to Libya, today, Sunday, 'The growing climate of fear and the deterioration of civic space, highlighted by reports of the United Nations Support Mission in Libya, require immediate attention and action from all stakeholders, to support the rule of law and respect for human rights in Libya.'
