The General Federation of Palestinian Industries discusses the priorities of the industrial sector

Hassan Abdel Jawad - The General Federation of Palestinian Industries held a workshop to identify the most important strategic issues that contribute to the development of the industrial sector in Palestine, in the presence of the president and members of the Federation’s Board of Directors, its Secretary-General, the heads and members of the councils of specialized industrial federations, and the executive directors, at the Conference Palace. In Bethlehem.

The Chairman of the Board of Directors of the General Union, Nassar Nassar, pointed out the importance of this meeting, which comes within the Union’s comprehensive vision to advance the industrial sector and work to confront the challenges it faces in order to reach an advanced national industry with high competitiveness at the national and global levels.

For his part, the advisor at Nassar Group, Dr. Jawad Al-Naji and the Secretary-General of the Union, Dr. Maher Hashish presented a working paper that included the most important basic topics related to the development of the industry, namely the legislative environment, infrastructure, trade, export promotion, and industrial rehabilitation programs that must be worked on to develop the industry.

At the conclusion of the meeting, after extensive discussion, the attendees approved the most important axes required to develop the industry, and it was agreed that this would be followed by an in-depth study of each of them, taking into account the needs of the industry in general and each industrial sector in particular, in order to develop a road map for developing the industry and raising its competitiveness
