Touch Signs New Roaming Agreement with Zain Omantel International

Beirut: Touch on Monday announced in a statement that it has signed a new roaming agreement with Zain Omantel International (ZOI), a leading wholesale and telecom operator in the Middle East. Under the deal, subscribers of Zain and Omantel networks visiting Lebanon from countries including Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Iraq, Bahrain, Sudan, South Sudan, and Oman will be able to roam on the Touch network at preferential rates.

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the agreement is part of Touch's broader strategy to restore Lebanon's telecom sector to its regional role, especially in the Gulf, by attracting visitors to use its enhanced roaming services. Touch has invested in improving coverage across Lebanon and currently holds roaming agreements with operators in the Gulf, Arab world, Europe, and the U.S.

The company is actively working to upgrade both the technical and financial aspects of its roaming services to make them more appealing to foreign visitors.
