Dubai: Tourism Minister, Laura Al-Khazen Lahoud, on Tuesday took part in the opening of the Arabian Travel Market 2025 in Dubai, featuring 2,800 exhibitors and 55,000 experts from 166 countries.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, on the sidelines of the event, Minister Lahoud engaged in a significant meeting with Dubai Civil Aviation President Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, who pledged to increase flights to Beirut, marking a positive development for Lebanon's tourism sector.
Additionally, Lahoud held talks with key tourism officials from the UAE and Saudi Arabia. The discussions emphasized cooperation and highlighted Lebanon's readiness to welcome visitors. The meetings underscored a commitment to fostering strong tourism relations with these influential partners.
In media interviews during the event, Minister Lahoud highlighted Lebanon's year-round tourism strategy, aiming to attract visitors throughout all seasons. She also visited Lebanese exhibitors at the market, reaffirming the ministry's full support for the tourism sector despite ongoing national challenges.
