‘Trends’ to participate in Abu Dhabi International Book Fair


ABU DHABI: Trends Research and Advisory announced that it will participate in the 33rd edition of the Abu Dhabi International Book Fair 2024 from 29th April to 5th May, under the slogan ‘Where the World’s Tales Unfold’.

Trends Pavilion will offer visitors the opportunity to explore a rich knowledge collection of hundreds of publications. These include original and translated books and a series of in-depth studies on political Islam movements, technology and artificial intelligence, tolerance and coexistence, economic development, and environmental and sustainable development.

Trends’ engagement in the fair includes a full programme of events and panel discussions that address current issues, with the participation of distinguished thinkers, researchers and media professionals.

Trends will organise a seminar and hold a launching ceremony for the book “Global Trends in Artificial Intelligence”, which explores the latest developments in artificial intelligence. Trends will hold a seminar on “Regional Cooperat
ion as a Gateway to Prosperity and Stability: The UAE and Egypt as a Model” in the context of Egypt being awarded the guest of honour status in this year’s edition.

Under the slogan “Foreseeing the Future Through Artificial Intelligence,” the Trends robot “Echo” will be present at the Trends Pavilion at the exhibition, to explain and answer visitors’ queries about Trends publications and events.

The pavilion will feature Trends’ Tara glasses, which allow virtual browsing of the centre’s publications. The digital glasses and Echo robot showcase Trends’ commitment to harnessing the latest technology for disseminating knowledge.

Trends will sign several agreements and memoranda of understanding with various parties on the sidelines of its participation in the Abu Dhabi International Book Fair. Dr. Mohammed

Rawdha AlMarzouqi, Director of Exhibitions and Distribution at Trends, said that the centre will participate in the Abu Dhabi International Book Fair with a wide collection of books that include dozens of qualitative and rich publications covering a wide range of regional and global issues.

AlYazia Al-Hosani, Director of the Media Communication Office at Trends, explained that Trends intensive media coverage shall reflect its qualitative participation in this important global cultural event to the largest possible segment of the audience.
