Beirut: Two people were killed and five others injured in two Israeli airstrikes targeting positions of the Islamic Health Committee in southern Lebanon.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, a medic from the committee was killed and three others wounded when a strike hit a field point in the town of Qlaouiyeh, in the Bint Jbeil district.
In a separate incident, Israeli warplanes targeted an ambulance post belonging to the Islamic Health Committee in the Ain al-Zarab area of Majdal Selem, also in Bint Jbeil, resulting in the killing of another medic and the injury of two additional personnel.
