Two Patients Die as Siege on Indonesian Hospital in Gaza Intensifies

Gaza: Two patients have died inside the intensive care unit of the Indonesian Hospital in the northern Gaza Strip due to a siege by occupation forces and the destruction of the hospital's electricity generator. According to Maan News Agency, the siege began this morning when occupation forces surrounded the Indonesian Hospital in Beit Lahia, targeting any movement in the vicinity. Artillery fired two shells at the hospital, cutting off its electricity supply. Medical sources in Gaza confirmed that patients in the northern Gaza Strip have been unable to receive necessary treatment due to the conflict. The sources further explained that the health system in the northern governorate has been severely impacted by Israeli actions over the past 15 days, leading to significant casualties and destruction. Hospitals in the area are overwhelmed, unable to provide adequate medical services due to the high number of injuries and fatalities. Maternity wards are operating at full capacity, forcing medical teams to delay some procedures, including caesarean sections. The depletion of medicines and medical supplies in the region poses an additional threat to the lives of citizens, according to the medical sources. The situation is exacerbated by the ongoing siege, which has left 200,000 residents without access to food, water, or medicine. Continuous bombardment and targeted attacks on shelters for displaced persons have further intensified the humanitarian crisis.
