Two Young Men Injured by Rocket Fire South of Qalqilya

Qalqilya: Two young men were injured and a vehicle sustained damage when two rockets fell in the vicinity south of Qalqilya on Wednesday evening. The incident has heightened tensions in the area, as the origin of the rockets remains unidentified. According to Maan News Agency, local sources revealed that one of the injured, a young man from Ras Atiya, suffered shrapnel injuries to his head and back. Meanwhile, another young man from Ezbet Jaloud sustained injuries to his foot and hand. Both individuals were transported to Darwish Nazzal Governmental Hospital in Qalqilya for medical treatment. The local sources further stated that the rockets landed in agricultural areas of the two villages, causing damage to at least one vehicle. The source of the rockets has not been determined, with speculation pointing to either Lebanon or interceptions by Israeli forces. The lack of clarity regarding the origin of the rockets has added to the uncertainty and tension in the region.
