Baghdad / NINA /- The United Arab Emirates affirmed that it stands by Iraq, supports its stability and the process of building in it, and its aspiration for more cooperation in all fields.
A statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that, the Iraqi ambassador to Abu Dhabi, Muzaffar Mustafa Al-Jubouri, met with the Emirati Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation for International Development, Sultan Muhammad Al-Shamsi, at the Ministry’s headquarters in Abu Dhabi. And coordination to develop fraternal relations under the support and care of the leaderships of the two countries, in addition to discussing issues of common concern.
The ambassador affirmed Iraq’s continued keenness to advance the horizons of cooperation in a way that would benefit the two peoples through strategic cooperation and joint coordination to promote mutual interests, indicating the importance of emphasizing the activation of the achievements made and intensifying efforts within this framework during the coming period.
For his part, Sultan Al Shamsi stressed that the UAE has always stood by Iraq, and that it continues to support its stability and the process of building in it and looks forward to more cooperation in all fields.
In this regard, he referred to the projects being implemented by the Ministry of Culture and Youth in Mosul, foremost of which is the project to revive the spirit of Mosul, stressing that this initiative aims to rebuild the landmarks of the historic city./ End
