UAE Completes 51st Humanitarian Airdrop in Gaza Under “Birds of Goodness” Initiative

Abu dhabi: The United Arab Emirates has successfully conducted its 51st humanitarian airdrop into Gaza as part of the "Birds of Goodness" operation, the Joint Operations Command of the Ministry of Defence announced today. According to Emirates News Agency, the airdrop delivered essential food items and supplies, contributing to the UAE's ongoing efforts to support families in isolated areas of Gaza that are hard to access. This latest mission is part of a broader humanitarian initiative aimed at alleviating the suffering of those displaced by conflict and addressing their basic needs. Since its inception, the "Birds of Goodness" operation has delivered a total of 3,463 tonnes of aid to the Gaza Strip. The aid distribution focuses on regions within Gaza that are facing severe logistical challenges due to the ongoing conflict, ensuring that the most vulnerable populations receive necessary support amidst the hardships. The operation temporarily halted due to security concerns in the region but resumed after r einforcing safety measures for the involved personnel and equipment.
