Dubai: The UAE Prime Minister's Office, under the Ministry of Cabinet Affairs, has entered into strategic agreements with the UAE Independent Climate Change Accelerators (UICCA) and TRENDS Research and Advisory. These partnerships are aimed at enhancing the government's strategic intelligence capabilities to support the "We the UAE 2031" vision. The memoranda of understanding (MoU) were signed during the Annual Meeting of the Global Future Councils 2024 in Dubai, which saw participation from 500 delegates from 80 countries. According to Emirates News Agency, these MoUs will allow the UAE Government to leverage the newly launched "We the UAE 2031 Strategic Intelligence" platform. This platform, unveiled at the same meeting, is designed to revolutionize how government strategies and policies are formulated, utilizing artificial intelligence and insights from over 2,500 international experts and more than 450 data sources. The collaboration with UICCA focuses particularly on environmental sustainability, aimin g to integrate best practices and enhance national capabilities while aligning with the UAE's Net Zero by 2050 Strategic Initiative. Sheikha Shamma bint Sultan bin Khalifa Al Nahyan, President and CEO of UICCA, emphasized the importance of this partnership in advancing the nation's climate goals and supporting sustainable development. Dr. Mohammed Abdullah Al-Ali, CEO of TRENDS Research and Advisory, expressed his organization's commitment to supporting the "We the UAE 2031" vision through extensive research and strategic studies. He highlighted TRENDS' role in enriching academic and institutional pursuits by providing valuable data and insights, which will now support the strategic objectives of the UAE government. The meeting also marked the establishment of eight UAE Strategic Intelligence Councils in partnership with the Global Future Councils. These councils are set to bring together UAE government leaders, global experts, and business leaders to drive the objectives of the "We the UAE 2031" vision for ward.
