UAE’s Abdullah Al Hamed Engages with Media and Technology Leaders in Shanghai

Shanghai: Head of the National Media Office and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Emirates Media Council, Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Butti Al Hamed, met with a number of global executive leaders in the fields of media, creative investment, smart education, and advanced technology in Shanghai. These encounters come as part of ongoing preparations for the "Bridge 2025 Summit" in Abu Dhabi, aimed at expanding strategic partnerships with international institutions and opening new horizons for cooperation in the media and technology fields.

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, discussions addressed opportunities for cooperation in digital content targeting Middle Eastern markets, mechanisms for investing in creative media, the integration of artificial intelligence and education technologies, and the development of smart infrastructure within media cities.

Al Hamed emphasized that "enhancing cooperation with global technology and media companies represents a fundamental step toward establishing an integrated media system capable of interacting with the transformations of the digital age."

He stated, "We are committed to establishing partnerships that strengthen the country's position in the global media sector and support the creation of responsible content that aligns with the aspirations of our wise leadership to allow for influential, informed, and innovative media that contributes to consolidating community awareness and promoting the values of openness and dialogue, reflecting the UAE's position as a global platform for intellectual and cultural convergence."
