AMMAN: University of Jordan Hospital (UJH) engaged in discussions on Sunday with the Arab Board of Health Specializations (ABHS) regarding the renewal of accreditation for 25 medical training programs. These programs are part of the ABHS's framework for advancing medical education and training in the region. According to Jordan News Agency, UJH Director Dr. Nader Bsoul emphasized the hospital's commitment to achieving its vision of being a leading institution in education, training, and development on local, regional, and global scales. He highlighted that UJH is dedicated to maintaining high standards in medical education and adapting to advancements in the field. Dr. Bsoul underscored the hospital's efforts to provide a comprehensive experience for trainees aimed at producing competent and safe medical practitioners. Dr. Bsoul mentioned that UJH offers several recognized fellowship programs and lauded the quality of physicians graduating from Jordanian health institutions, notably those from the Universit y of Jordan, which holds the 368th position globally in the QS World University Rankings for 2024. He further articulated the hospital's ongoing efforts to integrate ABHS guidelines to enhance the experience for non-Jordanian residents, equipping them to deliver advanced medical services in their home countries upon completing their residency. ABHS Chairman Dr. Rashid Al-Abri acknowledged UJH's efforts and its leading role in health specialty training. He commended the University of Jordan's ongoing professional development initiatives, recognizing UJH as a significant academic and medical training hub that strives to provide leading health services.
