University of Bahrain Board of Trustees Holds First Meeting of 2026

Manama: The Board of Trustees of the University of Bahrain held its first meeting of 2026, chaired by Dr. Mohammed bin Mubarak Juma, Minister of Education and Chairman of the Board, with the participation of board members and invited attendees.

According to Bahrain News Agency, the board reviewed the latest developments in construction, investment, and academic projects being implemented at the university's Sakhir campus. These initiatives are aimed at diversifying revenue sources and advancing educational and operational processes.

The board also approved a number of partnerships and memoranda of understanding between the University of Bahrain and several local, regional, and international entities.

In addition, the board reviewed reports submitted by the Academic Committee and the Audit and Finance Committee, took the necessary decisions on the recommendations contained therein, and tasked the university's administration with follow-up.
