Amman: Following her June ratification by the 27 member states, European delegates met in Strasbourg, on Thursday, and voted to give European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen a second five-year term. The German representative received more votes than she required after a secret ballot: 401 votes in favor, 284 votes against, 15 abstentions, and 7 papers invalidated. Source: Jordan News Agency
