Nabatieh: The son of the former mayor of Al-Wazzani was killed in an airstrike carried out by an Israeli drone that targeted him this morning on the Jarmaq-Al-Aishiya road. Earlier in the day, Israeli warplanes conducted an airstrike on the town of Yohmor al-Shqif. The town of Kounine in the Bint Jbeil district faced an air raid in the morning, while Israeli artillery also shelled the town, extending the bombardment to Yater.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, shortly after midnight on Saturday-Sunday, an air raid struck the town of Arabsalim, and the area between Haboush and Deir al-Zahrani was similarly hit. Israeli warplanes launched another raid on Harj Ali al-Taher on the outskirts of Nabaatiyeh al-Fawqa. Around 1 a.m., the town of Kafra in the Bint Jbeil district was targeted, alongside heavy artillery shelling of the towns of Froun, Hadatha, Toul, Safad al-Battikh, Al-Jmaymjeh, Aita al-Jabal, and Haris.
A residential and commercial building on the Haboush-Nabatieh road near the COOP was also destroyed by an Israeli airstrike. In the town of Doueir, another airstrike overnight demolished a building and caused damage to a residential neighborhood, injuring 11 people.
Meanwhile, rescue efforts continue for a woman trapped under the rubble of her home in Doueir, destroyed by an airstrike two days ago. Security threats have delayed the deployment of a large excavator for debris removal. A Lebanese Army patrol escorted an excavator for the operation today, but renewed threats led to the suspension of search operations for the missing woman.
