ABU DHABI: Zayed University has announced significant collaborations with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Huawei at GITEX Global 2024, aiming to transform its educational offerings and enhance the learning experience for its students. These partnerships are set to drive the university's digital evolution and equip Emirati students with essential skills for success in high-tech industries. According to Emirates News Agency, the alliance with AWS will focus on advancing Zayed University's internal digital capabilities through cutting-edge cloud technologies, including artificial intelligence, machine learning, and high-performance computing. This collaboration aims to boost the university's operational efficiency and elevate its IT systems to global standards. Additionally, the partnership with Huawei will establish an Innovation Hub at Zayed University. This initiative will serve as a dynamic platform for research, training, and practical experience in emerging technologies, further enhancing students' skills in areas such as AI and smart campus solutions. The hub will also host various events, competitions, and continuous learning opportunities, fostering an environment of innovation and hands-on learning. During GITEX 2024, Zayed University students took an active role by leading a session titled "Empowering Minds: Navigating Digital Learning in University Life." This session highlighted the students' proactive engagement with digital tools and their leadership in shaping discussions about the future of learning.
