10 Fatalities in Israeli Shelling of Displaced Persons’ Tent in Khan Yunis

Khan Yunis: A "Russia Today" correspondent reported that 10 people were killed and others injured Sunday morning in an aggressive airstrike that targeted a tent housing displaced persons in the Al-Mawasi area, west of Khan Yunis in the southern Gaza Strip.

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, four people were killed and others injured in an Israeli airstrike that targeted the Al-Attar area west of Khan Yunis on Sunday morning. Additionally, Israeli aircraft targeted a house behind the Abd al-Al Tekkiyet in the Nuseirat refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip, resulting in the deaths of two individuals and injuries to several others.

Director of medical relief in Gaza City and the North, Mohammed Abu Afash, stated that "the rate of fetal deformities in the Gaza Strip has exceeded 25% due to the Israeli occupation's use of internationally prohibited weapons." He highlighted an "unprecedented and extremely dangerous increase in the number of fetal deformities," further noting that "the Israeli army is preventing the entry of baby formula and food supplies into Gaza."

The government media office in Gaza released a statement saying, "The Israeli occupation has been preventing the entry of baby milk and food supplies into the Gaza Strip for 64 days, and more than 3,500 children are close to death from starvation." The media office also reported that over 70,000 children have been hospitalized due to severe malnutrition.
