The initial planning conference of the 2024 Eager Lion Exercise on Thursday concluded activities in Amman, in presence of a number of Jordanian Armed Forces (JAF)-Arab Army officers and officers from participating Arab and foreign countries. Set to be held during next May 12-23, the event aimed to identify the drill's framework and goals, optimally harmonize participating troops' interoperability, achieve common efficiency among all military land, sea and air units in cyber security areas, and information environment, according to a JAF statement. The conference also highlighted importance of coordination among all concerned state institutions to address natural disasters and crises. Carried out in the Kingdom since 2011, the previous drills harnessed diverse land, air and sea weapons and saw participation from institutions concerned with crisis management.
