Gaza: 1 death and 7 injuries in traffic accidents within 24 hours

The Police Traffic and Rescue Department announced, on Monday, the death of a child and the injury of 7 citizens as a result of traffic accidents during the past 24 hours. The Traffic and Rescue Police said: 'The child (Obaida Jihad Ezzat Abu Amra), two years old, died yesterday afternoon, Sunday, as a result of a traffic accident that occurred on Al-Hakar Street in Deir Al-Balah in the Central Governorate. The police indicated that the driver who caused the accident (B, K) was arrested, his vehicle was impounded, and legal procedures in the case are being completed. She explained that 13 traffic accidents occurred during the past 24 hours, resulting in one death and 7 injuries, 3 with moderate injuries and 4 with minor injuries.
