UN Special Representative of the Secretary-General for Libya, Abdoulaye Bathily, visited displaced families in Talaie Al-Nasr School in Sidi Khalifa, east of Benghazi, where several families took temporary shelter after the flash floods stripped them of everything they owned. Bathily expressed his deepest condolences to the bereaved families and heard their harrowing stories from the night of the floods. 'I assured them that the UN will continue to advocate for the reconstruction of the devastated areas and for the return to normal life,' Bathily added. Source: Libyan News Agency
