The Suez Canal Economic Zone (SCZone) and the Golden Triangle Economic Zone (GTEZ) engaged in a cooperation protocol, aiming to establish coordinated efforts and foster collaboration in various development domains. The partnership seeks to enhance joint coordination between the two entities across multiple sectors, including industry, agriculture, mining, tourism, and services within their respective economic zones. This protocol is part of an ongoing effort to ensure maximum integration and effectiveness in developing services for investors, as stated by SCZone Chairman, Walid Gamal El-Din. The integration between SCZone and GTEZ aligns with the objectives of comprehensive economic development, leveraging the capabilities of the Egyptian state and creating a favorable business environment. In January, the Cabinet announced that SCZone had signed five framework agreements to initiate projects worth around $250 million in total. These agreements involve the preparation of feasibility studies for various p rojects, serving as an initial step towards 50 other agreements currently being negotiated, according to SCZone's Chairman.
