The UN envoy, Abdullah Batili, congratulated the Libyan people on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan, expressing his hope that this holy month will inspire Libyan leaders to work to promote peace, dialogue, unity, and find a sustainable solution that meets the people's ambition to end division and not stability in Libya. Batili said in a post on his account on X "During this year's month of Ramadan, we remember all those whose living conditions were affected by the political and humanitarian crisis and the deterioration of the economy. We also remember those who spend the month of fasting far from their homes and families, whether because they were forced to move, fear for their safety, or were detained outside the framework of the law." Yesterday, Sunday, the Libyan Fatwa House announced that today, Monday, is the completion of the month of Shaban, and that tomorrow, Tuesday, is the first day of the blessed month of Ramadan for the year 1445 AH.
