Colombia and Brazil ended their clash 1-1 and both advanced to the knock-out stages while Costa Rica beat Paraguay 2-1, marking the end of the group stages of 2024 Copa America on Wednesday. Colombia maintained its lead of the group D after the 1-1 draw against Brazil. Raphinha gave Brazil the lead when he converted a free kick in the 12th minute, but Colombia's Daniel Munoz levelled the score in injury time of the first half. Meanwhile, Costa Rica's captain Fransisco Calvo gave his country the lead when he scored an early goal in the 3rd minute. Four minutes later Josimar Alcocer added the second. Paraguay's only goal was scored by Ramon Sosa in the 55th minute. Both team did not make it to the next round. Eight teams qualified for the knock-out stages which would begin tomorrow, featuring Argentina and Ecuador. Venezuela and Canada will meet on July 5, while clashes between Uruguay and Brazil, and Panama and Colombia on July 6. Source: Kuwait News Agency
