Egypt condemned on Sunday the Israeli occupation attacks of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) affiliated school housing thousands of displaced Palestinians in Nuseirat, Gaza, killing and injuring many people. In a statement, the Egyptian Foreign Ministry condemned and denounced the continuous human rights violations enacted by the Israeli occupation, emphasizing the need for a ceasefire, and for the Israeli occupation not to target Palestinian civilians. Egypt underscored the importance of preserving human rights in Gaza, to put an end to the atrocious violations against thousands of Palestinian women, children, and civilians committed by the Israeli occupation. The Israeli occupation must cooperate with international efforts by allowing the entrance of humanitarian relief and aid into the Gaza Strip, without hindrances. In a press statement, the Health Authorities in Gaza said the total death toll since October 7, 2023 has risen to 38,098 and 87,705 injured, unders coring the many victims that are still missing or under the rubble.
