KUWAIT CITY: Israeli airstrikes over Lebanese territories in the last 24 hours have resulted in at least 19 fatalities and 54 injuries, according to official reports from the Lebanese Ministry of Health.
According to Kuwait News Agency, the most severe incident occurred in the town of Al-Maisra in the Keserwan district of Mount Lebanon Governorate, where nine people were killed and 15 others were wounded. Additional casualties were reported in the Chouf district, where a building in the town of Barja was hit, killing four and injuring 18. In the Bekaa region, an airstrike targeted a car in the town of Al-Qatrani, resulting in four deaths. The ongoing airstrikes, which began on September 23, have inflicted significant material damages and human losses across various parts of Lebanon. The Lebanese Ministry of Health continues to monitor and respond to the situation, coordinating with local and international bodies to address the immediate health needs of the affected populations.
