KUWAIT CITY: The State of Kuwait has expressed its condemnation of the recent attack by Israeli occupation forces on United Nations peacekeeping forces in Lebanon. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs labeled the act as a serious violation of international norms and agreements.
According to Kuwait News Agency, the Ministry’s statement emphasized Kuwait’s firm stance against actions that compromise the safety and security of international peacekeeping missions. The ministry urged the international community to take immediate steps to ensure that such incidents are not repeated and to maintain stability in the region.
In related news, the Lebanese health authorities reported that Israeli air strikes in Lebanon have resulted in the deaths of nine individuals and injuries to 28 others. In response to the escalating violence, Lebanese caretaker Prime Minister Najib Mikati emphasized the government’s priority to achieve a ceasefire and halt further aggression.
