Ramallah: The Palestinian National Library and the Royal Jordanian Hashemite Documentation Center have formalized a cooperation protocol to enhance cultural and heritage exchanges. The signing ceremony took place on Monday in Amman, marking a significant step in cultural collaboration between Jordan and Palestine. According to Maan News Agency, the agreement was inked by Issa Qaraqe, the Director of the Palestinian National Library, and Dr. Muhannad Al-Mubaideen, Director General of the Royal Jordanian Hashemite Documentation Center. The event was attended by notable figures including Reham Al-Masri, Deputy Director of the Royal Center, and Suleiman Al-Shaqirat, Director of the Department of Manuscripts Conservation and Restoration. The protocol highlights a shared commitment to preserving and enhancing the intellectual and cultural heritage of both nations. It encompasses a range of cooperative efforts including the exchange of expertise in library and archival sciences, joint training programs, and the mu tual sharing of books, documents, and periodicals.
