KUWAIT CITY: Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) announced the publication of a new volume in its "Today in Kuwait's History" series. This second volume covers important events in Kuwait from January 1, 2011, to December 31, 2023, providing a detailed account of the nation's key milestones over the past twelve years. According to Kuwait News Agency, the latest publication not only continues the narrative of Kuwait's significant political, economic, social, and cultural changes but also includes photographic documentation of these events. The release of this volume follows the success of the first, which detailed the history of Kuwait up until the end of 2010 and was published back in 2011. The series began in October 2001 when KUNA started compiling daily reports on major local events in a newsletter titled "Today in Kuwait's History." The initiative has since evolved into a comprehensive archival project, aiming to preserve and present the nation's progress and achievements through well-documented records. This ongo ing project underscores KUNA's commitment to enhancing public knowledge and national identity through historical documentation.
